KATAKLYSM Frontman Issues 'Summer Slaughter' Tour Video Report

Currently out on the traveling mayhem of the Summer Slaughter tour, KATAKLYSM frontman Maurizio Iacono checks in with a tour report video for all the fans. Watch the tour report video below. In addition, Maurizio states: In a recent poll that was launched to give fans the choice to vote for the next KATAKLYSM video, over 2,500 votes were submitted and the track 'Prevail' was the one that took in the most votes! Therefore, KATAKLYSM will use the title track 'Prevail' as the bands second video from their latest masterpiece. The band appreciates everyone's support and would like to thank who gave their input for this. KATAKLYSM will start filming in August for a release later this year, more details to follow."

As previously reported, "Prevail" sold 2,250 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD, which was mixed at AudioHammer Studios in Orlando, Florida with producer Jason Suecof, features guest solo appearances by Pat O'Brien (CANNIBAL CORPSE),Dave Linsk (OVERKILL) and producer and guitar shredder Jason Suecof himself. "Prevail" also includes a bonus DVD with a full performance recorded from a live Internet concert stream at DeepRockDrive studios in Las Vegas, NV on December 3, 2007.
